Mary Aldrich

Mary Mary quite contrary, how does your Internship go? With fresh ideas and many posts, you are proving how easy it is to steal the show! Mary was in interesting addition to the team since she is studying Business Administration with a Management major and African American Studies minor. She also attends Northeastern University and her efficiency and effectiveness seem to come naturally and we greatly appreciate her here. Mary is an absolute pleasure to have in the office and we are looking forward to seeing what ideas she will bring to the table!

  1. The first CD I ever bought was: Fugees – The Score
  2. The artist I admire the most is:I really admire Wyclef for his work with Haiti especially in light of the recent tragedy there
  3. I’m hoping this experience at MAE will: introduce me to the music industry and provide me with my first work experience in the field.
  4. My dream vacation would be: Relaxing in over-the-water bungalows in Bora Bora
  5. One album I could listen to constantly is: Ready to Die
  6. On my iPod you will find: Diverse mix from hip-hop and R&B to classic rock and soul
  7. My ideal job would be: A&R executive for a successful record label.

Zack Trahan

Zack certainly has a quirky sense of humor and a divine interest in gaining practical experience. This is beneficial for him being a Northeastern Student since his co-op program demands 2 full years of work experience while obtaining a degree. He asks questions all day long and his thirst for understanding and knowledge makes him a force to be reckoned with. When he isn’t inquiring about the who, what, when, where, and why… You can find Zack jammin’ to Elephantom or waiting in line at the box office to get tickets to concerts the old fashion way!

  1. My favorite album of 2009 was: Merriweather Post Pavillion – Animal Collective
  2. The best concert I have ever been to is: Elephantom.

Austin Bryant

Austin Bryant has become more than just a new media marketing intern here at MAE. His duties beyond brainstorming and finding the best bargains on download cards now also include Director of Mass Appeal TV. He really knows how to bring out the best of people and has been known to be somewhat of a heartbreaker! He’s a good listener, he puts his best foot forward, and we have been blessed with his presence! Carrie Klestinec

Carrie Klestinec took the traditional yet unexpected route to Mass Appeal Entertainment by sending her resume, cover letter, and branded material via snail mail. Her creative approach, willingness and ability to go above and beyond, along with her attention to detail make her an amazing addition to the team. Carrie brings her NY accent but her warm and open spirit to work every day and we couldn’t be happier to have her! She is not only a contributing member of the team, but a diehard Bleek Fan as well, and for this we love her!

Kristina Bedoya

Kristina Bedoya, a Northeastern University student, has been with us at MAE since July 2009. She has had the pleasure or working on various projects including the promotion of Lisa Lisa, Suzanna Lubrano, and Memphis Bleek, offering a great variety in her tasks. Kristina is approaching graduation and the question remains…will she stay in Boston or return to the warmth of endless summer from which she hails in Miami? Perhaps it will depend on where she finds a job which allows flexible hours or a minimum start time of Noon ☺

Al Vargas

Al Vargas graduated from Chester College of New England with a BA in Graphic Design and Illustration. When he isn’t designing fun avatars, buddy icons, wallpapers, and banners for Mass Appeal, you can find Al playing with animation, discussing philosophy, listening to any Classic music, watching a variety of sitcoms, or reading something totally interesting. Long story short, Al loves to be busy and it seems impossible for him to be bored! Al shares all kinds of information with us here at MAE- both useful and useless, which we all love!

Natasha Arguete

Natasha Arguete is a worldly young woman currently attending Berklee College of Music. She speaks 5 languages and her voice travels quite far, as Natasha is Turkish but grew up in Mexico City. She is a little crazier than “normal” people and will either have the entire office laughing or she is laughing enough for the entire office. Generally speaking, her enthusiasm is unparalleled and she is so positive about life, that she was a gift herself for Halloween this year! You must beware of the sneaky side to Natasha who likes to take candid photos of the other team members and post them on Facebook!

Zenova King – New Media

Zenova “Z” King comes to Mass Appeal Entertainment direct from the Empire State, aka New York… well at least via Pine Manor College! Z is studying Communications and before joining MAE received great experience with BET. She brings a zest for life to the office and is ready to tackle any project handed to her. She comes fully equipped with a notebook, pens, and awesome heart-shaped post its that have been known to cause serious post-it envy. Z is a Taurus and true to her sign she is patient, reliable, warmhearted, persistent, and determined. When she isn’t working diligently on promoting Memphis Bleek, you can find Z on Facebook tweeting about herspace and new discoveries. One thing is for sure, you can expect big things from this Lil’ Lady!

Feelin the ‘Heat’ in Red Hook

On August 11, 2009 Lisa Lisa hosted a free concert at Red Hook Park in Brooklyn, NY! Fans felt the heat and the beat as they sang along to ‘Lost in Emotion’, ‘All Cried Out’ and more of Lisa Lisa’s chart topping hits.
